Everything has soul,
everything has Anima.

And the human soul — the animal body — was designed to be in relationship with The Soul of The World, Anima Mundi, through each of the senses.

I'm Reverent Mariela

I am a spiritual artist, an energetic storyteller, a divine-mother medicine carrier, and a lover of the world.

I was born in Cuba at a time when religion had been forbidden by the state, and I grew up with a profound hunger for something larger. I became a spiritual seeker as a teenager and studied several religious and philosophical traditions, culminating in a Master of Divinity. But it had all been an intellectual journey, one that made me abandon my body and soul (the energetic intelligence of my body).

This is the story of a girl who befriended the gods, in her body.

I hold a Master of Fine Arts from Bennington College and a Master of Divinity from Meadville Lombard, and I've spent many years tending to the human soul — the psyche.

I used to work for "the man," and I now work for The Mother. I keep a house for The Divine Mother, and you are welcome here.

Lose your mind and come home through the senses.

For the soul that is hungry, I create immersive experiences of exquisite beauty that help you come Home — to the body, the present moment, and The Mother Web.

I promote Spiritual Homemaking and Soul Hospitality: the art of creating the right conditions for the flourishing of the human soul and the Soul of the World.

We are children starving for the nourishment of The Mother.

There’s food here!

The Return Home to the Mother Web

This is the story of returning home to the Mother Web — of belonging to life again.

I was depressed and depleted (burnout) until I understood my body as a container of energy. The systems had extracted from my earth body, the same way they had extracted from the earth's body. I had to learn to treasure my energy, because for reality creation energy equals currency.

That's why around here we honor the energy in the body and its wisdom. ✨💛 And we are informed by Human Design, an energetic system that has supported our journey back to VITALITY after burnout. In that system I'm a 5/1 Sacral Manifesting Generator.

My body and soul were also deeply malnourished, so before I could give my medicine to the world, I had to nourish myself first and restore my system to its original medicine, its original beauty. And I'm honored to support others on their journey.

The Kosmology

Ordered Beauty & the Mother Web

Kosmos, the ancient Greek word for the universe, means Ordered Beauty. This is the kosmology I follow — a Venusian philosophy of interrelatedness.

To me, that Ordered Beauty is The Mother Web: the womb of creation, a sentient intelligence of sacred electricity.

We are all reality creators — colorful weavers inside this Mother Web, inside this fabric of creation. Everything in this web carries a Soul, and that Soul carries its own original beauty, its own medicine to heal its corner of the web.

This was my road from spiritual homelessness to spiritual homemaking. I now keep a house for The Mother. She is a hostess, and the gods — the planets — arrive as her guests as I set a place for each one.
